Search by A-Number
If you know the detainee’s A-Number, ICE recommends using this search option. The A-Number must contain exactly nine digits. If it has fewer than nine digits, please add leading zeros (for example, A001234567). You must also select the correct Country of Birth for the detainee. (* Required Field)
Search by Biographical Information
When searching by name, the detainee’s first name and last name are required and must match exactly (for example, John Doe will not find Jon Doe or John Doe-Smith). When entering a hyphenated last name in the Online Detainee Locator System, include the hyphen so the locator can find the individual (for example, Doe-Smith). You must also select the detainee’s Country of Birth. (* Required Field)
